NESTS Forges Strategic Partnership with Tata Motors and Ex-Navodayan Foundation to Empower Tribal Students through Competitive Exam Preparation, Skill-Linked Education, and Employment Opportunities
Two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on 09th July, 2025 — one with Tata Motors Limited (TML) and Ex Navodayan Foundation (ENF) for the preparation of IIT-JEE and NEET examinations aimed at inclusive education and empowering tribal youth; and another was signed to facilitate skill-linked education and employment opportunities for tribal students who complete Grade 12 from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS). This will be done specifically through their enrollment in the prestigious Tata Motors Kaushalya Program.
These MoUs aim to provide comprehensive coaching for the highly competitive JEE Main/Advanced and NEET exams, along with skill-linked education and employment opportunities for EMRS students.

Both MoUs represent a five-year agreement commencing from the academic year 2025–26. This partnership reflects a shared goal—to bridge the education gap for tribal students and to facilitate skill-linked education and employment opportunities.
These initiatives are expected to benefit over 1,38,336 students enrolled in EMRSs across 28 States and 8 Union Territories. It aligns with national development goals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on employability and education, thereby providing a structured pathway for tribal youth to integrate into the skilled workforce.
Looking ahead, the outcomes of the initial phase will inform the expansion of this model to other tribal education programs, ensuring its integration into long-term policy frameworks for sustainability and wider impact.
This strategic collaboration represents a meaningful step toward bridging educational gaps and creating lasting opportunities for tribal communities. By focusing on quality education, skill development, and livelihood support, the initiatives not only empower tribal youth but also contributes to broader goals of social inclusion and national progress. Through targeted support and a shared commitment to change, it opens new doors for thousands of students to build brighter, more secure futures.
