The Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) continue to nurture scientific curiosity and innovation among tribal students, enabling them to excel on national platforms. A significant testament to this vision is the selection of EMRS students for the prestigious ISRO YUVIKA (YUva VIgyani KAryakram) 2026, a flagship programme designed to inspire young minds towards space science and technology.
Namgyal Zangmu Lepcha, a Class IX student of EMRS Swayem, successfully completed the YUVIKA programme conducted at the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad. Through this exposure, she gained valuable insights into India's space programme and scientific advancements.

Aditi Sanjay Chaudhary, a Class X student, earned selection for the prestigious YUVIKA programme through her academic excellence and keen interest in science and technology. Her achievement reflects the growing scientific aspirations of tribal students nurtured through EMRS.

Sarthak Tanwar was selected for YUVIKA 2026 and participated in the residential programme at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR), Sriharikota. During the programme, he interacted with ISRO scientists and engineers, visited launch facilities, attended scientific lectures, and gained first-hand exposure to rockets, satellites, and space missions. The experience strengthened his scientific temperament, confidence, and motivation to pursue a career in science and research.
Together, these achievements demonstrate how EMRS is transforming tribal classrooms into centres of scientific excellence and empowering students to contribute confidently to India's scientific and technological advancement.
